HIPPIE TENDENCIES
FOUR ITALIAN MUSICIANS – Marco Cremaschini – (keys, piano), Cesare Valbusa – (drums), Massimo Saviola – (acoustic and electric bass), Christian Codenotti – (acoustic guitar and vocals) and their American lead singer Lisa Marie Simmons make up the singular band Hippie Tendencies..
Formed in 2006 Hippie Tendencies have been gigging since then in Europe and America and have delighted their audiences worldwide with songs from their first self titled album.
They are today pleased to present their second album “Identity” (2014, AlfaMusic/Egea distr.).
The subject matter is diverse and covers a wide spectrum, from the classic theme of love to reflections on today’s society .The melodies swing from a funk to a jazz atmosphere. Despite very different musical and cultural backgrounds the five musicians reveal an incredible cohesion and have given birth to an album which is energetic and engaging.
Identity is an album that displays a delicious harmony between the vocals of Lisa, the melodies, the arrangements and the lyrics of the various songs. It is a refined piece of work, elegant and with many varieties of sound, traveling from soul, to jazz and a captivating modern pop

Quattro musicisti italiani – Marco Cremaschini (tastiere, pianoforte), Cesare Valbusa (batteria),Massimo Saviola (basso elettrico e acustico), Christian Codenotti (chitarra acustica) – e la cantante americana Lisa Marie Simmons compongono la singolare band “Hippie Tendencies”.
Nati nel 2006, gli Hippie Tendencies sono stati in tour in Europa ed in America deliziando il pubblico di tutto il mondo con le canzoni del loro primo omonimo album.
Il gruppo presenta oggi il suo secondo album “IDENTITY (2014, AlfaMusic/Egea distr.).
Le tematiche dell’album coprono un ampio spettro, dal tema classico dell’amore alle riflessioni di carattere sociale, mentre le melodie spaziano dal funk alle atmosfere jazz. Nonostante i diversi background musicali e culturali i cinque musicisti mostrano un’incredibile coesione, dando vita ad un album energico e coinvolgente.
